Port Henry Bandstand
This bandstand was built in 1906 and demolished in 1953.  It was built by Mr. Jno. Dyer of Albany.  It was the first project built with cement and tailings from the mines.  It was located in the village square, where we now have a flower circle.  Many Wednesday nights were filled with the snappy music played by the Port Henry Band members.  The music was enjoyed by many folks as they strolled and visited with their friends and neighbors.  Previous to this bandstand, there was a small wooden one in the same place.
